Since its opening on October 30, 2005, the Tzu Chi Jing Si Hall in Pasir Ris  has featured the Jing Si Books Hut on the ground floor. The Hut displays a variety of Jing Si publications and products, showcasing the wisdom of the Jing Si tradition while conveying the values of purifying the mind and returning to a simple, peaceful life.

Although the Jing Si Books Hut is small and does not serve tea or beverages, its elegant furnishings and soft lighting create a tranquil, meditative atmosphere, allowing visitors to relax, rest, or enjoy the fragrance of books. It provides a peaceful spot for visitors and also offers convenience for volunteers and members to browse and acquire daily necessities. In this simple yet warm space, the power of kindness and love quietly continues in everyday moments.
